Type

P = Pistols. Any type of single shot (or semiautomatic) weapon which may be accurately fired with one hand.

SMG = Submachine-guns. Any type of weapon which may fire either automatically or semiautomatically, using only pistol ammunition.

SHG= Shotguns. Any weapons which fire pellets or other small particles instead of a solid slug.

RIF = Rifles. Includes assault rifles, carbines, and fully automatic rifles. These weapons always fire rifle type ammunition.

HVY = Heavy Weapons. Includes missiles, grenades, heavy cannon, etc.

MELEE = Melee Weapons. Includes swords, daggers, knives, martial arts weapons, polearms, etc.

EX = Exotic Weapons. These are bows, lasers, fletchette pistols, airguns and microwave weapons.
