Martial Weapon Profieciency

Choose a type of martial weapon. You understand how to use that type of marial arts weapon. Use this feat to expand the list
of weapons with which you are proficient beyond the list in your class.

Benefit: You make attack rolls with the selected weapon naturally.
Normal: When using the weapon with which you are not proficient, you take a -4 penalty on attack rolls.
Special: Barbarians, fighters, paladins and rangers are proficient with all martial weapons. They need not take this feat. You gain this feat multiple times, Each time you take the feat, it applies to a new type of weapon. A cleric who chooses the War domain automatically gains this feat related to his deity's favorite weapon as a bonus feat, if the weapon is a martial one. He need not select it. A sorcerer or wizard who casts the spell Tenser's Transformation on himself or herself gains proficiency with all martial weapons fir the duration of the spell.

Maximize Spell

You can cast spells to maximum effect.

Benefit: All variable numeric effects of a spell modified by this feat are maximized. A maximized spell deals maximum damage, cures the maximum number of hit points, affects the maximum number of targets, etc. Saving throws and opposed rolls are not affected, nor are spells with random variables. A maximized spell uses up a spell slot three levels higher than the spells actual level. An empowered, maximized spell gains the separate benefits of each feat: the maximum results plus one half the normally rolled result.


You are skilled at dodging past opponents and avoiding blows.

Prerequisites: Dex 13, Dodge.
Benefit: You get a +4 dodge bonus to AC against attacks of opportunity when you move out of or within a threatened area. A condition that makes you lose your Dex bonus to AC also makes you lose dodge bonuses. Dodge bonuses (such as a dwarf's racial against giants) stack with each other, unlike most other types of bonuses.
Special: A fighter may select this feat as one of his fighter bonus feats.

Mounted Archery

You are skilled at using ranged weapons while mounted.

Prerequisites: Ride 1 Rank, Mounted Combat
Benefit: The penalty you take when using a ranged weapon while mounted is halved.
Special: A fighter may select this feat as one of his fighter bonus feats.

Mounted Combat

You are skilled at mounted combat.

Prerequisites: Ride 1 rank
Benefit: Once per round when your mount is hit in combat, you may attempt a ride check to negate the hit. The hit is negated if your ride check result is greater than the opponent's attack roll.
Special: A fighter may select this feat as one of his fighter bonus feats.
