Larger V-terms carry huge on-bard databases, large scangrids, indefinite power supplies and built-in direct links to the Net. This makes them heavier (ten, twenty pounds) and less prone to be lugged around. (The ones on the Street are encased in steel and concrete to make sure they don't take a walk).
