Individuals using pyrokinetic abilities involving nanites to manilipulate molecular structures. Causing objects to generate heat and become physically unstable or even burst into flames. Once ignited, flammable objects may burn until destroyed or extinguished. These ablities are not of the mind. Collections of nanites flow under the skin or on the hairs. They work in conjunction like ant networks do. Nesting is in the gastrointestinal and biliary tract, assimilated housing from fat cells, and processing oxygen from the pores. They store energy, cycle about the skin at the ready like anti-bodies, before acting under will of the host body. Many of the extremely few to have taken to this power have been able to cast fireballs by creating micronic fusion reactions in air, which is 80% nitrogen, and shoot them far as fifty meters before dying out.

Notes

  • Burn Units(BU) are Body x 3. Regain a number of BU equal to Body per day.
  • Can Melt, Ignite, & Combust objects in time by touching. Ignited objects burn alight for 1d6 mins, Combusting objects erupt in flames burning fiercely for 4d6 mins. Objects affected by Ignite or Combust may affect nearby objects. Melted objects lose cohesion turning into a semi-liquid state.
  • Deal DC3 at 1 BU per touch attack.
  • Failures can result in complete fireball backfires.
  • Fire Armor can render immunity to the effects of flames and heat-based attacks. The BU cost is paid per turn (3 rounds) the resistance lasts.

    • AR6:3BU napalm,incendiaries,extremely hot fires
  • Fireballs can be Explosive with +1 BU per meter radius at half the DC.
  • Firestarters have a resistance to heat attacks equal to their Burn skill.
  • Flammable objects decrease the Difficulty by 5. Fire-resistant objects increase the Difficulty by 5.
  • Heat-tracking and heat-sensing devices and abilities gain a +2 bonus against Firestarters.
  • Non-flammabe objects will burn for 1 turn per additional BU expended. Expecially non-flammable materials or flame-resistant materials cost double the BU for their weight.
  • Two or more Firestarters can work together to drain potential and kinetic heat energy from objects.
